Important information to all applicants:
Please note that:
- Standard degree courses are eligible for bursaries after completing a minimum number of years (e.g. B.Sc. or B.Eng. for a 4-year study period).
- A student already enrolled in a 5-year study program or planning to do so cannot apply. You may still apply, but if we realize at a later date that you are already registered for five years or plan to do so – the bursary will be withdrawn/terminated immediately.
- If a student applies for a bursary in their second, third, or fourth year, they must still follow the same rules. The study period would be extended by one year if you have failed modules, did not register some modules, or cancelled some modules. It is still important to fulfill all requirements for the applicable degree course within a standard and minimum timeframe – such as 4 years for a B.Eng./B.Sc. Applied Science degree.
- An approved standard South African university must be recognised and accredited for full-time study. Note: Students are not permitted to register at so-called distance-learning facilities or institutions such as UNISA.
- There will be no bursaries awarded for studies towards dual/combination/hybrid degree courses (e.g. Chemistry with Chemical Engineering, Mechatronics with Environmental Science, geology with Environmental Science, etc.)
- It is possible for Sasol to rescind or terminate the invitation for the further selection process, the bursary offer, or the bursary with immediate effect if incorrect information is provided during the application process. This could be a result of intentional/unintentional fraud.
- Students must understand that if the information provided during the application process differs from the information provided during the interview or any later date, the application/bursary will not be considered valid.
Closing date: On going
Sasol’s youth programmes are ready to change lives if you have what it takes.
Notice:
- Application deadlines should be met by close of business on the day of the application deadline.
- It will not be possible to consider incomplete or late applications.
- No applications will be considered if they are submitted by e-mail or do not appear on the Sasol bursaries website.
- There will be no consideration given to applications from non-South Africans.
