South African students are invited to apply for the Bursary Programme for the 2023 academic year through Afrimat Iron Ore.
Afrimat Iron Ore Bursaries 2024 now open for applications
Applicants must be currently enrolled in Grade 12 and willing to study Mining Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Metallurgical Engineering at an accredited South African university.Bursaries are available to students intending to study one (1) of the three (3) fields mentioned above.

Bursary Requirements
- In 2023, you must be in Matric (Grade 12).
- On the grade 11 final report, you must have a minimum average of 70% in Maths and Science.
- It must be from the Northern Cape.
- A valid South African ID is required.
