For the academic year 2023, the Tastic Education Fund invites students to apply for the Tastic Bursary Programme.Through the Tastic Legacy Fund Bursary Competition 2023, 60 bursaries are available to students.

Tastic Education Fund Bursaries 2023 for South Africans

There will be 60 students selected, who will each receive R25 000 toward their tuition fees for studies in ANY field at any accredited higher education institution in South Africa.Institutions will receive bursary awards directly.

Requirements

Before applying, applicants must meet the following minimum entry criteria (failure to meet all requirements will result in your application not being considered):

  • The applicant must be a South African citizen or a permanent resident of South Africa
  • It is required that you are at least 18 years old
  • The applicant must be a natural person (not a juristic person).
  • To study at a higher education institution in South Africa, you must be registered
  • You must not be a director, employee, agent or consultant of the Tiger Brands Group of Companies, or a spouse, life partner, immediate family member, business partner, or supplier of goods and services.
  • Before applying, you must read and agree to all the Tastic Bursary Competition terms and conditions

Before applying, applicants must read and agree to the Tastic Bursary Competition terms and conditions.

Applications that are unclear, illegible, or contain errors will be rejected. In the event an entry cannot be successfully submitted due to a technical failure, Tiger Consumer Brands Limited will not be liable.

Selection For The Tastic Bursary Competition

  • Bursary awards will be given to 60 students.
  • During the promotional period, winners will be selected at random and contacted telephonically within four weeks of each draw
  • Promoter reserves the right to select another winner if winners cannot be contacted.
  • Winners forfeit their prizes if they do not redeem them within 4 weeks of notification.
  • By entering this bursary competition, winners accept that they will be required to participate in further publicity campaigns or have their names and likeliness used for promotional purposes in line with the promoter’s business (including posting on various social media sites).
  • Prior to receiving an award, winners may be required to sign a waiver of liability and indemnity.
  • The winners will be required to provide their personal information (including full names, ID numbers, and contact information), as well as sign an acknowledgement of receipt of the prize.
  • A valid proof of identity (ID book, passport, or drivers license) and proof of registration at a South African higher education institution will be required for the winners.
