A Grain Miller Learnership Programme 2023 is being offered by GWK Farm Foods to unemployed youth.On the banks of the Vaal River in North West province, South Africa, Christiana is an agricultural town of about 3,000 people.On the way to Kimberley (Northern Cape), the town is located on the N12 national route between Bloemhof and Warrenton.

Overall purpose of the role
2x Maize Milling Learnerships are available at Farm Foods Grain. Learnerships are structured learning programs that combine practical and theoretical learning.
Key tasks
- Ensure that the milling process is executed in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices;
- Ensure the quality of input;
- Maintain the mill;
- Quality requirements, GMP, safety and hygiene standards
- All sections of the mill must be worked on. In order to maximize exposure;
- Assume the role of GWK Ambassador.
Requirements
The candidate must have the following:
- Certificate in Mathematics and Science for Grade 12
- Work experience is not required
- Motivated by self-interest
- Working effectively in a team and interacting with others
