Closing Date: 14 April 2023
Students studying in the following fields will be eligible to apply for bursaries:
- Accounting (BCom)
- Electrical Engineering
- Law
- Management Science (majoring in Business Analytics) (BCom)
- Mechanical Engineering
- Metallurgy
- Mining Engineering
- Quantity Surveying
All shortlisted candidates will be contacted by 21 April 2023 – if you have not heard from us by this date, please consider your application unsuccessful.
Requirements for Foskor Bursary Programme
The following minimum entry criteria must be met before applying (failing to comply with all requirements will prevent your application from being considered):
- You must have completed Matric
- You must have achieved a minimum result of 60% for Mathematics and Science or Commercial subjects on a higher grade
- You must be studying full-time towards an undergraduate qualification, within one of the fields of study listed above
- A recognized and accredited university in South Africa is required
- You must NOT be receiving any other bursary funding
No matter what race or gender a student may be, the bursary is open to them.
How to apply for Foskor Bursary Programme
Students who meet the above eligibility requirements may apply by submitting clear copies of the following documentation (submission is mandatory – if any items are missing, your application may be disqualified):
- ID document (certified copy)
- Matric certificate (certified copy)
- Shortened Curriculum Vitae including your contact details (maximum 1 page)
- Registration at a tertiary institution, indicating your field of study (on the institution’s letterhead)
Note: there is no application form to be completed for this bursary application – students need only submit the list of the above documents to apply.
