Key Output
- Repair, service, and maintain Earthmoving Equipment and components according to supplier and customer specifications
- Perform repairs, services and maintenance on Earthmoving Equipment on customer sites or at BWE’s facilities quickly and efficiently.
- Provide accurate customer machine analysis and reports, including Machine Inspection Reports (MIRs) and Technical Analysis Reports (TAs).
- Represent BWE in a professional manner
- Maintain a safe work environment
- Control contamination, handle own admin (labour booking, service reports, part returns, expenses, etc.).
- Maintain the quality and productivity standards of own work consistently and accurately
Qualification, Experience and Competencies
- Grade 12 (Matriculation),
- NQF3 qualified in relevant trade (e.g. Diesel Mechanic/Earthmoving Equipment Mechanic)
- Knowledge and skills specific to machines
- Communication and interpersonal skills that are sound
- Writing a basic technical report
- Understanding of basic business and financial concepts
- Knowledge of computer literacy (SIS, STW, ET)
- Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of applicable products, Failure analysis, and customer orientation
