Hitachi Energy Responsibilities:
With Hitachi Energy South Africa, you will be exposed to both local and regional operations where you will be paired with qualified and registered professionals to assist you with your transition into the professional world by transferring their knowledge, skills, and attributes to you and allowing you to learn beyond what you have in the classroom.
Finance Graduates will gain exposure to many aspects of the financial environment, but will primarily focus on supporting the PGGA department’s controlling team.
Successful candidates will be trained to be highly proficient and agile in the finance domain. Stakeholder engagement and learning will include soft skills.
Graduates will learn how to work in a project environment and experience accounting-related aspects.
Under the guidance of the business unit controller, the graduate will also assist the project controller with some duties, including loading journal vouchers into the system, collecting Accounts Receivables, and collecting VAT documents.
Aside from the above tasks, the graduate will also be responsible for ad hoc tasks related to finance.
Additionally, the candidate must participate in driving the finance team to achieve its goals.

Hitachi Energy – Your background:
A degree or diploma in accounting is required. Be able to demonstrate strong written and communication skills, as well as a positive attitude toward learning.
It would be advantageous if you had knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Intermediate Excel skills, Word documentation, and an understanding of general accounting principles.
The candidate must be proficient in both spoken and written English.
