- Salary: R150 000.00 CTC per annum non-negotiable
The Brand and Multimedia internship position at Mintek is an exciting opportunity.
It will be the incumbent’s responsibility to assist the Information & Communications Department with brand, multimedia and other digital and media related activities. The application process is open to all qualified candidates.
Description
PURPOSE OF THE POSITION: This position is intended to give students who have completed their degrees practical work experience.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Take, edit, and upload photos for the website, intranet, social media channels, and publications
- Creating audio and video content for the website and social media channels (preproduction, recording, and editing);
- Contribute to the creation of various visual elements and brand assets with the design team;
- Making basic website and intranet changes, uploading new content;
- Auditing the website and intranet regularly to check information, suggest updates, and improve engagement;
- Providing branding support and ensuring brand compliance across all Mintek channels
- Keeping an updated branding equipment inventory list.
Job Knowledge /Skills Required
- Experience in video production; photography and editing
- Knowledge of editing software
- Knowledge of audio set up and editing
- Knowledge of social media platforms and digital marketing strategies;
- Handling multiple tasks simultaneously is an essential skill in project management;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite an advantage;
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A positive attitude, a proactive mindset, and an eagerness to learn.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (NQF level 7) in Multimedia, Video Production, Branding, or Design
- Excellent academic record: 60% average
