Job Description: The HR Planning Officer is responsible for coordinating the planning and steering of HR for Managed Operations and De Beers T&S through the design and implementation of HR metrics.
Assist the department in achieving HR excellence by providing planning tools, reports, and performance matrix that are aligned with the people strategy.
Key responsibilities include:
- Contribute to the development of the annual HR Business Plan and work with the team to ensure positive results.
- Assist in developing and maintaining HR metrics to guide the department’s annual activities.
- Provide data and metrics to be reviewed and evaluated for HR projects, including ROI analysis.
- Actively supports the delivery of De Beers people strategy by providing professional support and required training to HR managers and HRBP for HR related outputs.
- Assist Head of HR with managing the HR risk register for the department.
- To ensure that HR-related decisions are monitored by relevant data and trends and that HR delivery is appropriately measured, prepare reports and graphs for HR monthly meetings.
- Provides talent data updates for Navigator and EXCO career discussion panels.
- Analyze reports and analytics to structure interventions to help Head of HR deliver people’s strategy.
- Manage the office and interface with other stakeholders on behalf of the Head of HR.
Qualifications:
An industrial psychology or human resources management degree.
Role-specific knowledge and experience:
- A proven record of success as an HR Advisor, HR Consultant, or a similar position.
- Previous experience utilizing HR systems.
- Knowledge of labour legislation.
