Location: 5 Provinces

About the Program:

  • A hands-on 18-month program

  • Demonstrate competence in specific modules through a robust and structured evaluation process

  • Traineeships are available through the following programs:

    • Brewing Traineeship

    • Packaging Traineeship

    • Control & Automation Traineeship

    • Quality Traineeship

    • Technical Services

    • Energy & Fluids

    • Safety

    • Projects

  • Traineeships are available at the following Breweries:

    • Newlands Brewery, Cape Town (Western Cape)

    • Ibhayi Brewery, Gqeberha (Eastern Cape)

    • Prospecton Brewery, Durban (Kwa-Zulu Natal)

    • Polokwane Brewery, (Limpopo)

    • Rosslyn Brewery, Pretoria (Gauteng)

    • Alrode Brewery, Alberton (Gauteng)

    • Chamdor Brewery, Krugersdorp (Gauteng)

Key roles and responsibilities:

  • Participation in team structures including acting roles
  • Project participation aligned with program requirements and priorities in the Plant environment
  • Diagnosis of systemic and situational problems and troubleshooting
  • Across the organization, learnings and solutions are communicated
  • Take on challenging assignments with passion, curiosity, courage, and resilience, and be determined to succeed
  • Connect with people at all levels and collaborate with an ownership mindset

Profile

  • A Bachelor’s degree (from a recognized tertiary institution) or equivalent tertiary qualification in one or more of the following disciplines is required:

    • Chemical

    • Industrial

    • Mechatronic/Electromechanical

    • Mechanical

    • Power/Electrical

    • Food Sciences/Technology

  • The applicant must have no more than two years of formal working experience by the start of the program. (Internships, vacations, and short-term contracts are not permitted)
  • Legal work authorization (full citizenship)
  • Geographical mobility within South Africa
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and ability to quickly adapt to new systems
