Qualifications Glencore:
In any of the following disciplines, a National Diploma or Bachelor’s degree is required;
- Analytical Chemistry,
- Extractive Metallurgy,
- Chemical Engineering,
- Occupational Health & Safety,
- Mechanical Engineering,
- Instrumentation and Electrical Engineering.
Other Requirements Glencore:
- Proficiency in MS Office package and computer literacy
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Initiative and result orientated
- Medical fitness
Job Objectives Glencore:
You will be accountable to the relevant Manager for the following:
- Assemble a tripartite agreement between the student, the host company and MQA (Mining Qualification Authority) for the duration of the program
- Undergo practical training and exposure at the premises of the employer
- Complete and submit quarterly progress reports as required
- Comply with Health and Safety requirements in the workplace
- Performing general administrative duties and/or other duties as required
- Work rotational shifts when required
