Citi Bank: 2023 Banking Winter Internship Programme in Johannesburg

The Citi Bank Johannesburg Banking Winter Internship Programme is recruiting and inviting recent graduates to apply.

Location: Sandton, Gauteng, South Africa

This is a 3-week paid vacation internship programme for undergraduate university students starting on the 26th June and ending on the 14th July 2023.

It offers in-office work experience in Investment Banking, Global Subsidiaries Group, Markets and Corporate Banking in South Africa.

We provide you with the knowledge and skills you need to succeed.

If you would like to work for one of the largest financial services companies in the world, you are welcome to apply for this three-week internship regardless of your previous financial industry experience.

You might be considered for Citi’s full-time graduate or analyst programs if your internship is successful.

In these full-time programs, university graduates are placed in specific functional teams within the bank.

Full-time programmes include extensive classroom training as well as global recognition.

Your time here will look something like this.

We begin the program with a firm-wide orientation that introduces you to Citi’s culture and its benefits and responsibilities.

You will receive real time responsibilities to give you an idea of what you would be doing on a day-to-day basis as a Citi employee.  You will work alongside Citi leaders alongside fellow interns.

• A keen interest in financial markets and current affairs is critical
• Students from all degree disciplines are encouraged to consider our opportunities.
• Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Engineering, and Information Technology subjects are beneficial, but not essential
• The importance of a strong academic record at both the Matric and University levels cannot be overstated
• The applicant must attach their CV, cover letter, updated academic history, and a copy of their ID
