FUNCTIONAL OUTPUTS

• Transports items to and from the mines on a daily basis, including delivery and collection,
• Responsible for safe operation of logistic fleet.
• Complete job specific task and checklist accurately
• Ensure safety standards are adhered to in the workplace and report any unsafe conditions to superiors
• Ensure compliance with housekeeping standards by applying SOPs and COPs specific to the job
• Participate effectively and efficiently in teamwork to achieve Team Goals
• Report all task activities
• Hazard identification/task risk assessments
• Engages in daily morning meetings to discuss work assignments
• Achieve the goals and vision of the business by meeting deadlines

Driver job vacancy at Sasol Mining REQUIREMENTS:

Qualifications:

• N3/NCV Level 4 in Maths, Science, and English/Business English for Grade 12
• 1 to 2 years of experience as Driver (Advantageous)
• Driver’s License – Code 14 (Advantageous)
• Able to obtain a medical certificate of fitness
• Public driving permit (Advantageous)

Experience, Knowledge and Skills:

• Ability to use hand tools safely
• Underground machinery knowledge (Shuttle Car, Roof Bolter, Crusher, Feeder/Feeder Breaker)
• Ability to understand electrical equipment’s (Wish)
• Basic tacking skill
