As a Clerk, your responsibilities will include
- Contributing to the achievement of the team’s objectives by performing effective and efficient general office administration, such as diary management and order processing.
- To ensure compliance, all documentation must be processed according to company policies and procedures as well as document control principles.
- Documents must be filed according to document control requirements to ensure compliance and ease of retrieval.
- Assuring customer satisfaction by coordinating and administering all logistical arrangements within the agreed timeframes.
- Providing professional assistance to coworkers when needed to alleviate work pressure on request.
- Managing your time
- Tasks on an as-needed basis
- Maintaining compliance with all health and safety practices and encouraging good housekeeping to ensure compliance and a safe working environment for team members.
- Participation in safety initiatives, such as SLAM and HPH
- Prior to undertaking any task, conducting the necessary safety interventions.
- Keep a record of actions taken to prevent contamination and pollution; ensure the working area is clear, legible, and visible.
You will need to have the following
- Grade 12
- Valid South African Driver’s license
- Computer Literacy: MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- SAP
Experience
- 2-3 years Operational experience in an administrative role
- Time Management skills
- Administrative skills
