The Emalahleni Local Municipality invites applications for the position of JUNIOR FIRE FIGHTER (X10 POSTS).

- R233 172.00 Level 10 of Grade 6

The Municipality hereby invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for the following position:
QUALIFICATIONS/ REQUIREMENTS
- 12th grade
- Hazmat operations and awareness for fire fighters 1 and 2
- Driver’s license with code C1
- Level 3 First Aid
- Age must be between 18 and 35 years old
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Taking care of all emergency and non-emergency calls
- Responding to fires, accidents, hazardous material incidents, and other emergencies within the municipality
- Accidents should be cleaned up as soon as possible
- Ensure that all rescue equipment is functioning properly
- Maintaining a clean, orderly environment at the fire station at all times by inspecting and cleaning all fire vehicles and equipment.
- All hydrants should be cleaned and checked

Provide high-quality service that is tailored to meet the needs of the communities served by focusing on the customer.
Must be able to identify and deal with ethical issues and conflicts of interest.
