The Midrand store of Dis-Chem Pharmacies requires an experienced cleaner. As part of Dis-Chem’s hygienic standards, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and neat store.
Location:Â Midrand, Gauteng
It will include a store floor, a stock room, a dispensary, an admin office, and a canteen
Minimum Requirements…
Essential:
- Grade 12 / Matric
- A minimum of 6 months’ cleaning experience
- Sound command of the English language
- Basic customer service
- Additional language that is area specific
- Willing and able to work retail hours
Advantageous of Dis-Chem Pharmacies:
- Bilingual
- Previous retail store cleaning experience
Job Specification…
- Ensure that the store, shop floor, and communal areas are clean and hygienic before the store opens each day.
- Establish routines to maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the store.
- Ensure that the canteen and restrooms are always clean and stocked with the necessary products.
- Throughout operating hours, be available to clean up as needed.
- Make sure the correct cleaning products and equipment are used for each task.
- When cleaning the floor, make sure the wet floor sign is up and visible at both ends.
- Be friendly, professional and able to assist customers.
- Perform duties according to Health and Safety Regulations.
