Dept of Agriculture (KZN) Internships
Applications are invited for the 2023 – 2025 Internship Programme by the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development.Graduate interns will be appointed from 01 April 2023 to 31 March 2025 for twenty-four (24) months.On-the-job training in technical, professional, and public service skills relevant to entering the formal job market will be provided.
Upon appointment, graduate interns will receive a monthly stipend based on their NQF level of qualification as determined by the Youth Development Directive of the Department of Public Service and Administration.
Specific requirements
- Applicants must be South African citizens
- Applicants must be residing in KwaZulu Natal,
- Applicants must be unemployed
- Applicants must be between the ages of 18 35 years
- Applicants must be entering the graduate internship programme in the Public Service for the first time.

Criteria
Applicants from previously disadvantaged groups and those with disabilities will be given preference.Applications are encouraged from candidates within specified areas.
Directions to applicants
Public Service Departments can provide the prescribed Z83 form for applications.
All applications must be accompanied by an application letter, certified copies of:
- Matric certificate,
- academic qualifications,
- Identity Document (ID),
- statement of results (academic record),
- Curriculum Vitae (CV) and
- an affidavit indicating a place of residence.
Applications that do not comply with the above directive will be disqualified.
