Control Room Operator Post at Johannesburg Water
For each site and shift, report the number of security officers on duty. Security officers on leave, short postings, AWOL, etc. Resolve all deviations on posting. Fill short postings, shortages, and AWOLs with security officers. Make sure all sites report on an hourly basis, reporting all in order and or reporting any irregularities as they happen. For reference, issue an OB number to the control room and receive an OB number in return. Ensure all incidents on site are reported to the control room, and the Operator must make an OB entry pertaining to all details and complete an incident report. Any irregularities should be reported. In case of an emergency, follow the SOPs. Ensure the control room receives warnings from Guard monitoring systems. In the event that security officers are not responding to problem areas, send out mobile supervisors. Equipment that has been lost or faulty should be reported. Maintain a clean and tidy working environment at all times, including equipment and resources.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Grade 12
• 3 years in a Security environment which includes 1 year control room experience.
• Computer literacy
• PSIRA Grade B Registration.
• Knowledge of Easy Roster system.
• Drivers Licence code 08 (B)
