REQUIREMENTS: A National Senior Certificate, a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, or a related field of study.

The Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA) requires candidates to register as Candidate Engineering Technologists. Valid Driver’s licence. No previous experience is required.

Technical Competencies: Manage projects, understand technical design and analysis, and conduct research and development.

Professional judgment, computer-aided engineering applications, technical report writing, networking.

Competencies: Decision-making, Teamwork, Analytical skills, Creativity, Self-Management, etc.

Focus on customers, communication skills, computer skills, planning and organizing, problem-solving and analysis.

DUTIES: Complies with the Professional Registration requirements of SACPCMP.
