From January to December 2024, graduates will work and learn at SARB’s Head Office. The students will be assigned to a department and exposed to a variety of tasks and projects.

Graduates will attend a variety of learning interventions at the SARB Academy during the Programme. Central bank interventions are primarily aimed at producing well-rounded central bankers.Graduates will also gain personal and professional skills such as assertive communication, public speaking and presentations, creating impactful PowerPoint presentations, teamwork, and personal excellence and etiquette as part of the holistic programme.

South African Reserve Bank (SARB) Graduate Internships Applicant Requirements
- Have completed a postgraduate degree;
- AreĀ a South African citizen;
- Have a strong desire to work in financial services and/or policymaking;
- Have a proven track record of academic excellence;
- Hve excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Are a curious and keen learner.
