Successful applicants will be placed at Buckman for a fixed term period of one (1) year beginning on 1st June 2023 and ending on 31st May 2024.
To qualify for participation, applicants must meet the following requirements:

Unemployed and willing to start the program on 1st June 2023

Reside within close proximity to Fochville,
-
Be willing to work shifts / and or overtime,
-
Consistently adhere to high safety and quality standards,
-
Possess a positive attitude and a record of good behavior
-
Transportation to and from Fochville office is the responsibility of the individual
The following certificates and other important documents are required (NB: scan all supporting documents and upload as one file with your application):

A letter certified by a local councillor stating that you have lived there for no more than three months

Pre-Employment Assessments
Candidates who meet the above criteria will be required to undergo job-related assessments to determine their suitability for placement, including qualification verification.
Each prospective employee must undergo a full pre-employment medical exam before a final offer of employment can be made.
The purpose of this examination is to confirm the applicant’s fitness and ability to perform the specific duties in the specific environment required for the position to which they will be appointed for health and safety reasons.

Chemical Engineering

The internship does not count as an in-service training requirement and cannot be counted as part of your qualification. The candidate must already have completed his or her Chem Eng degree. The qualification is complete.
