Job Description
- Providing product training on herbicides, insecticides, fungicides, adjuvants, nutrition, and biologicals.
- Responsible for performing research farm duties, including product application, measurement, and reporting.
- Implementation of field trials and compliance with regulatory requirements in product development.
- Developing an understanding of product formulation in the Research & Development Laboratory.
- Maintaining the quality control laboratory; Executing quality control duties.
- Developing an understanding of product production.
- Being exposed to AECI Plant Health’s Emerging Farmers Initiative.
- Working in a variety of depots and performing the duties associated with them.
- The writing of reports and research.
- Provide technical support and sales assistance as required by the responsible Technical Advisor and Regional Sales Manager
- A formal training program will also be expected of the incumbent, in addition to the above.
Qualifications and experience
- The minimum educational requirement is a B.Agric or B.Sc Agric degree or a Btech degree.
- Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) skills required.
- An international driver’s license is required, as well as reliable transportation.
- Travel is a must.
